How can you use your new SATELLITE M30 SERIES battery
Your new SATELLITE M30 SERIES battery must be completely charged and discharged before use. The long period of transition from factory to customers during which the idleness of battery may passivate its electrode material. So upon initial use the TOSHIBA SATELLITE M30 SERIES battery may require three complete charge/discharge cycles in order to avoid passivation and activate the SATELLITE M30 SERIES battery’s performance and maximize it’s capacity. Meanwhile, As there is the data transmission agreement port between SATELLITE M30 SERIES laptop battery and laptop, it takes 2-3 charge and discharge cycles before the battery’s actual capacity percentage is in sync with the percentage displayed by laptop. Cycling approach: Put the SATELLITE M30 SERIES battery into laptop and charge/discharge it until the laptop shutting down. Then charge the battery again. Charge time must exceed 12 hours. Repeat three times.
